First Annual Career Connections Horse Back Ride
Career Connections, an organization that serves individuals with disabilities and disadvantaged adults, is organizing its First Annual Career Connections Trail Ride and Chili Feed on Saturday, August 19, 1995 from 4pm to 11pm. All riders will start at Kirk's Lodge at Mt. Spokane and will return to the lodge after the ride. Riders must bring their own horse!To enter, each person is asked to submit a minimum $15 donation to Career Connections. The entry fee can be obtained through a personal donation or by getting sponsor forms and obtaining pledges. Each person will ride for 3-1/2 hours starting at Kirk's Lodge and will return to Kirk's Lodge for the Chili Feed and live music. Those who don't wish to ride may still attend by paying the entry fee and can still eat and dance. Bring your horse and let's have fun! Special prizes will be awarded for the largest donation made, the oldest rider, youngest rider, the person coming the furthest to be involved and the largest group.
