Lacey is a ten year old 4th grader who attends Regal Elementary. She loves to participate in all types of sports and games. Lacey's primary love is her involvement with horses. She has been a member of the Saddle Warmers Club and Northeast Zone of Washington State Horsemen since she was born.
Lacey has won numerous awards over her 10 year involvement. She started as a leadliner and has now become a Junior. In '88, '89, '91, '93 & '94, she received High Point Saddle Warmers for her age division. Her winnings consist of jackets, hauling blankets, silver buckles & trophies. In 1993, she was High Point at the Northeast Zone (NEZ) level and in 1994, she won the Indiana Harness "Big D" blanket award for earning the most Games Division points overall.
Lacey participated at the Spokane Interstate Fair in 1994. She won Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion with 2 blue ribbons. This was her and her registered POA's first time ever showing (Great job!)
Lacey has been riding her registered POA mare (Lil Itchy Britches) for 5 years; however, she is outgrowing her pony and has been working hard to help pay for her new horse. She will be starting "Pepper" in the fall, participating in Western Games.
